  • Pet Care Trust is compiling a report reflecting how many grants have been given, broken down by state, since the beginning of the program. Since KMG has become the management company for PCT, the program has awarded over 21,000 grants to schools in all 50 states and Canada.  To date over 1.1 million students have been impacted by these grants.
  • SMART (Secondary Materials & Recycled Textiles Association) received over 90 posters for the Wear It? Recycle It! poster contest. The Wear It? Recycle It! educational campaign was created for SMART when Executive Director, Jackie King was seeking new ways to spread SMART's message and educate the public about textile recycling. She sought out The Education Center and partnered to create lesson plans and worksheets for teachers of grades K-5. For more on this program click here.
  • AVDA (American Veterinary Distributors Association) just returned from their 2013 Annual Conference. Thanks to the management by King Management Group, this year AVDA had record attendance and also record sponsorship for the program.
  • Want a unique way to encourage your members to network and loosen up during an event? If so, you should try a photo booth at your next Welcome or Networking Reception. We recently hired a photo booth provider in the Naples, FL area (Bash Booth) to set up during our opening Welcome Reception for the American Veterinary Distributors Association (AVDA) Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. Our attendees loved the idea and got to take home a fun keepsake photo from the meeting. The photo booth came with props for members to use during their photo session and the photos were branded with our association logo. This also worked well with our meeting theme, "Minds Wide Open" by encouraging attendees get out of their comfort zones by striking a pose with funny hats.
